Cheering Up (@Yukino)

Sting let out a deep sigh, as he watched the other there in the arena, she had lost the battle but also the bet. Which was anything but good. ” Great.. ” He mumbled towards himself as he turned around and walked away, he just went towards Sabertooth’s waiting room at the arena. It wasn’t where they were staying but Sting had to pick up something there so he better could do that now. After he had done what he needed to do he started walking back towards the lodgings.

Walking through the streets of Crocus, it was night already. Sting had his hands shoved into his pockets and he kept kicking the tiny rock infront of him letting out a groan, yeah he wasn’t in such good mood though then he stopped. He heard something up, he looked up. …Where? He thought as he looked around. Dragon slayers with their heightened hearing sense, he could hear someone…crying?

Sting looked around and followed the sound, he then stopped. He saw Yukino sitting by the edge close to the water. ” … ” So that’s what he heard, her crying. Letting out a tiny sigh he shoved his hands into his pockets and walked towards her, he didn’t say anything but he just sat down next to her. Altough he didn’t say anything, but sometimes it was not necesarry to do such thing. Because having someone next to you would be good enough.

After her loss, many of her guild mates expected her to come back and meet them. But they were wrong, the stellar mage was still traumatized by losing her battle against Mermaid Heel’s Kagura.

After that she ran off somewhere, out of the arena and somewhere a good distance away from everything. There, she let out her emotions. Hics and sobs escaping her mouth along with some loud cries here and there.

Her walls were crumbling, thinking to herself how she could’ve done better. Instead she made Sabertooth look more bad. Yukino never stopped crying, and it was then that she decided to stay outside for the night, in this peaceful looking scenery before her.

Her body crouched, knees together pushed towards her body, her arms wrapping around them whilst her head rested on her knees. That was then she heard footsteps coming near and closer towards her, and it stopped once she felt the vibration of the body sit beside her.

And she could tell who would be lurking this late at night, and so she decided to cry more. For it was someone she wanted to impress during her battle, though.. she failed. Having the idea that he was rather disappointed too.
